Nip stress in the bud

This time of year is particularly stressful because many routines "restart". Kids go back to school, vacations are over and the regular work schedule starts again, the seasons are changing again and winter is coming. Where did the summer go?
Keep in mind that there are many things that are out of our control and we learn to let go or learn to work through it. But there are a LOT of things we have control over that can positively or negatively affect our day to day lives.
For instance, while we cannot control the weather or seasons, the way we treat ourselves and others is something we have control over. What we put into our bodies; not only what we eat, but what we listen to and what we watch. How we take care of our minds and bodies will have a direct impact on our stress levels.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, choose to put YOU first. Choose to invest in your health by eating well, moving your body, finding your faith and what makes you shine. Choose to START now.
